However, Pipes might need to bite the bullet and admit that one reasone is that President Bush has not exercised proper leadership in this or other fields (remember Hurricane Katrina and "Heck of a job, Brownie?". If things are going wrong, the buck stops (and should stop) with the President. He needs to stop saying "Trust me."
